These guys were teh suck. Terrible deck work IMHO. Only tuned in for about 45 minutes, but that was more than enough torture on my ears. Terrible attempts @ scratching and turntablism, shoddy beatmatching, and awful selecting of tunes. I only stayed 45 minutes because I kept thinking it couldn't get any worse, but I was wrong. Better luck next time guys. In the meantime try to watch some real DJ work the decks and mixer and take notes. Sorry if I'm coming off as a dick but, I tuned in to be entertained and tuned out disappointed.

"Sorry if I'm coming off as a dick"

uhh, maybe just a little...
Maybe next time try to offer a little constructive criticism?

Overall I thought the set sounded pretty good. There may have been a couple rough spots in the mixing but I think the track selection was good and the scratching was excellent.

I know that Dave will post this set somewhere soon but for now you can check it out here (165.6 MB):

Yo random_jack!
Why don't you show me how to cut sometime? While we're at it, you can give me a lesson in beat matching too?!

let's see what you have to bring to the table?

Yo jack, I suggest the next time you want to be dissapointed you should look at your junk.
I'll tell you what, the next time I want some lip from you I'll unzip my zipper.
Try being a man and at least tell us who is talking smack. Actually I gotta go, I forgot,
I gotta call your mom and remind her to take her birth contro. If you want to own up give me a holla.

Look Mel it's not my fault your djing wasn't that great. I'm sure everybody has their off night and I guess this must have been yours. Just move on and try to work on your skills. If you can't take critism they made you shouldn't be on the decks. Anybody who put themselves in a forum for critism, such as a musical performance, should be open to it whether it is good or bad. I'm in a line of work where I'm constantly under critism. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. I don't pout about it, I just go back and sharpen things up for a better product. So in short, don't think that because you DJ that nobody has the right to critize your performance. I didn't think it was good. Thanks for trying though, better luck next time.
Ace, act your age not your shoe size kid. Your comments were barely worth a sentence in response. Grow up.

I know you gave your honest opinion in regards to Mel and Chris's set but it was a little harsh, don't you think?

In the future maybe offer some suggestions tactfully?
Here's an example: (I'm re-writing your post):

"I tuned in tonight and wasn't really diggin' your track selection. Also, the mixing was a little off and I wasn't impressed by the scratching... I think you have potential though so better luck next time!"
